(“LaughMD,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit laughmd.com, use our contact and inquiry forms, purchase products through our store, sign up for updates, or otherwise interact with us (collectively, the “Services”). Contact and inquiry information. When you submit our Contact Us form, we collect your first and last name, email address, phone number, reason for inquiry (investment, partnership, internship, or general), and any message you send.
Order and purchase information. When you purchase a book or other product through our store, we and our payment processor collect billing information, shipping address (if applicable), email address, and payment details. We do not store your full payment card details.
Marketing sign-up information. If you sign up for updates (for example, “Stay Updated on the Book Launch”), we collect your name, email, and phone number so we can send you updates.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, we automatically collect certain data when you visit, including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location, typically through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 5.
Health-related information. This website does not knowingly collect protected health information (PHI) as defined by HIPAA. Content on this site describing biometric or clinical outcomes relates to the LaughMD program as deployed by healthcare providers and facilities, and any health information generated in that clinical context is handled by those providers under their own privacy and HIPAA obligations, not collected by LaughMD, Inc. through this website.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information we collect to respond to inquiries and fulfill partnership, investment, or internship requests; process and fulfill orders, including payment processing, shipping, and customer service; send requested updates about the book launch or other LaughMD news; operate, maintain, and improve our website and Services; detect and prevent fraud or misuse; and comply with legal obligations.
